Gadget makers are coming together to create smart speakers.
Samsung has already revealed plans for a Bixby speaker to tackle Apple's HomePod, Amazon's Echo, and Google's Home.
The Apple speaker will be priced higher than that of Amazon Echo, which starts at $ 49 for the Echo Dot.
The speaker will provide an appliance hub via Apple's HomeKit system and set up an in-house center to arrest people to use other Apple services, according to the report.
A speaker can help customers stay true to other services such as Apple Music, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and AirPods.
Google's $ 130 (£ 105) home speaker is powered by the phrase 'Hey Google', while Amazon's Echo uses 'Alexa'.
Amazon's $ 50 (£ 40) Echo Dot puts the company's smart speaker in a small package
Amazon's smart speaker is available in two versions – the full-size $ 180 (£ 145) Echo shown here and a smaller $ 50 (£ 40) version called the Echo Dot.
Amazon Echo uses Microsoft's Bing search engine to provide additional information, while Google Home uses the company's own Google Search.
Both Home and Echo are continually listening to the commands, although Google and Amazon say nothing is returned to them until the speakers hear a keyword – OK, Google. for Home and & # 39; Alexa & # 39; to Echo.
Google Home Mini: The smart, $ 49 ($ 34) tech donut can do almost anything that the biggest sibling controlled by Google Assistant can do, including answering questions and controlling third-party devices.
Google's Assistant software can also answer follow-up questions on the same topic in a quasi-conversational style, but Echo can't yet.
However, Amazon's Alexa software offers a wider range of skills that allow you to link and control more third-party devices at home.
A light comes on to remind you that you are listening.
You can also turn off the microphone temporarily.
