The adjustment is provided for in the contract of the Road Concessions Program, which includes 20 concessionaires. The postponement also includes the toll plazas of the concessionaire Entrevias, which would have update on Monday (6).
According to the agency, the postponement of the adjustment takes into account the “scenario of state of public calamity, according to Decree 64,879 of March 20, 2020, due to the pandemic caused by Covid-19, and keeps unchanged the values of tariffs in force since July 2019.”
For the tolls of the concessionaire ViaPaulista, the increase expected for November 23 this year remains as expected. The five squares of the Concessionaire Centrovias, “managed by the concessionaire Eixo-SP, will also have no change, because they have already had their tariffs calculated in another process, whose values are in force since May 15 of this year.”
The concessionaires of são Paulo’s highways are considered essential services and maintained the activities during the period of social isolation. Works, maintenance and provision of relief and distribution of hygiene and food kits remain unchanged during quarantine.
