The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is now available to everyone, and many media outlets have already come in to prove the game, such as VgTech, which was able to perform an accurate graphics comparison in terms of resolution and images per second (FPS). on Xbox One X and Playstation 4 Pro.
There is no doubt that graphics have evolved and it shows a lot that it is an end-of-generation game, with a clear innovation in all aspects of that already distant Call of Duty: Ghosts. But, focusing on what concerns us today, this comparative chart presents some interesting facts about the four consoles where Modern Warfare was released: Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.
Xbox One X Clearly Wins Resolution War at Modern Warfare
But after watching the video, which shows a pretty clear counter on its numbers, the first thing we see is that the PS4 Pro is the clear winner in terms of the nearly rocky 60fps achieved. Xbox One X averages 55 fps, but the resolution difference between them is incredible: 2,120,864 vs. 4,147,200 pixels on the screen, with the lowest results. In other words, Xbox One X occupies almost twice the pixels of PS4 Pro in the worst case, since the minimum resolution of PS4 Pro is 1388 × 1528 and on Xbox One X is 1920 × 2160 – yes, Microsoft's console is the only one that reaches from the native 4K in this game.
It is becoming clear that PS4 Pro is advancing in fps, because once again we are talking about dynamic resolution that rebuilds the image to give us a final result which, in the case of PS4 Pro, is at most 2716 × 1528 and on One X , is native 4K, ie 3840 × 2160.
