The fact that the main series is over does not mean that there will be no Game of Thrones anytime soon.
And we are not only talking about television format, with the already announced prequels, but also in the form of comics. In the latter case, with a new series just announced, which will arrive in 2020 by the hand of Landry Q. Walker. George R.R. Martin's Clash of Kings will be a new series based on A Song of Ice and Fire (via Comicbook).

As you can see, the cover is awesome, and it's a line of comics that Dynamite Entertainment will deliver to us. Moreover, the story will take up half the argument of the second book. We also know that he will present us with art by Mel Rubi (Doctor Strange), as well as illustration by Ivan Nunes and Tom Napolitano (Supergirl) covers.
In any case, the argument for this new book will begin with Catelyn Stark and Brienne of Tarth on the run after Renly Baratheon's mysterious death. Right now, Tyrion Lannister is at King's Landing with his lover, Shae. Arya Stark is a prisoner in Harrenhal, and the war goes on.
The author has already made some statements about the comic since its announcement:
"As we move into the second half of this adaptation, I think we'll see some of the most solid work on the title so far. We're at the beginning of some of the most important scenes set in George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire."
Clash of Kings reservations will begin in November 2019, and are scheduled to launch in January 2020.
