Daisy Ridley confirmed that the relationship between Rey and Kylo Ren will be explored further in Star Wars: Skywalker's Ascension.
In conversation with Entertainment WeeklyRidley assured "Reylo" fans that the duo's complex connection will not be forgotten in Episode IX, knowing that some fans are heavily invested in their dynamics.
"It doesn't bother me, people write these things," said Ridley about speculation around the duo.
"It's very fun to hear these theories. Even more because I know more or less what will happen, I think it will be very interesting to see people's reactions [to the final version of the movie]. Obviously there is this whole Reylo scene and some people are very passionate about it, unlike others. "
The actress has also confirmed that director J.J. Abrams will explore their complicated, seemingly uncomplicated relationship, sharing his approval for the way the "complex subject" was viewed in the next movie.
"J.J. explores that," he added.
"It's a very complex subject. People talk about toxic relationships and things like that. It's no joke, and I think they handle it really well, since it's just not mentioned."
Star Wars: Skywalker Ascension hits the cones in December this year.
