For now, James Gunn assures that it is not official that there will be a crossover between both films. However, not only does it open the door to this internal debate, it also hints that certain characters from The Batman may be part of the script for The Suicide Squad. What are they preparing?
If we look at the issue, the idea of a crossover between The Suicide Squad and The Batman is not that strange. Basically, the original Suicide Squad introduced Ben Affleck's Batman, and now something similar could happen, but with some of the villains in both movies.
The question came through a fan who asked a very direct question on the topic. Gunn responded by saying that no crossover is confirmed at the moment … "But I think he (Matt Reeves) knows who is on my script" (via Comicbook).
It should be recalled that, so far, The Suicide Squad has confirmed attendance by Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag) and Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang). from the first movie.
The film will also feature some Gunn releases, such as Peter Capaldi, Idris Elba, Michael Rooker, Nathan Fillion, Sean Gunn, David Dastmalchian, Storm Reid, Pete Davidson, Taika Waititi and John Cena.
